Embrace the magic of the season during our Merry Moo-mories Highland Cow Photo Experience! Meet Dooley & Rooster, two of the most adorable highland cows, all dressed up in their Christmas best and ready to spread holiday cheer. 

In addition to capturing heartwarming holiday moments with our photographer, you’ll enjoy snuggles and kisses from our festive furry friends. It’s a one-of-a-kind holiday memory your family will treasure forever, plus your photos will create the cutest holiday cards or keepsakes. Explore what's included in each session below and pick a date this holiday season to make unforgettable moo-mories with your family!

Included in your experience: 

  • Exclusive access to visit with Dooley or Rooster (only one cow per session)
  • 20-minute photo shoot with professional photographer, featuring a snow machine for added magic and festive photos
  • 10 edited images
  • A cow cuddles experience where you can brush and feed them
  • Hot apple cider or apple cider slushies

Cost: $225 per group (up to 6 people) and only one person from the group needs to book the session.

Meet our Photgraphers

Brittany Garrett 

We met Brittany during our spring blooms photography session in 2021 and loved her work, so we partnered with her for all our Orchard photo experiences - pumpkin patch photo experience, Christmas with the Kringles event, Peach Bloom Mini Sessions & Apple Bloom Baby Animal Sessions. Angela Bell 

Angela is a local photographer located in Liberty, NC. She first joined us in 2021 for our spring blooms photography session and partnered with us on every MCO photo experience ever since - our pumpkin patch photo experience, Christmas with the Kringles event, Peach Bloom Minis & Apple Bloom Baby Animal sessions. Additonal Details

  • All purchases are nonrefundable.
  • We will provide the photographer for your session, so no need to bring anything besides yourself and a smile.
  • If we cancel the session due to bad weather, we will reach out to all guests that have booked sessions to reschedule (if available) or refund their purchase. We must cancel the event for this instance. 
  • 10 digital images are included your photo experience, but you will have the opportunity to purchase additional images. We will email your image gallery to the email address you used to register within 14 days of the session.
  • Outside food and beverages (water is acceptable) are not allowed on-site. 
  • Other things to enjoy before or after your photo session: 
    • Visit the our new addition to the Orchard, The Cider House, to sip on hard cider, local wine, or craft beer and enjoy our handcrafted food menu. Explore the menu here.
    • Burn off some energy in our Kiddie Korral Playground
    • Explore the canned good and baked good offerings in the Apple Barn
    • Pack your fishing gear and enjoy catch & release fishing
    • Enjoy hot and fresh apple cider donuts and homemade apple cider floats at Granny's Goodies - open Saturdays (10-4pm) and Sundays (1-4:30pm)
