If you’ve been dreaming of creating your own backyard orchard, join us for an interactive workshop with Cody Craddock, Horticulture Agent with Randolph County Cooperative Extension. During the workshop, we'll visit a few different crops grown at MCO - apples, peaches, blueberries and blackberries - and dive into the essentials of growing fruit at home. You'll learn:
🍏 The basics of growing each of these crops
🌱 When and how to plant for success
💧 Managing fertilization, irrigation, pruning and pest control
Bonus ~ Every participant will take home an Apache blackberry plant to jump-start their own fruit-growing journey!
