Home Fruit Growers Workshop

May 17th at 11am | Workshop Price: $8/person

There’s nothing sweeter than homegrown fruit! If you’ve been dreaming of creating your own backyard orchard, join us for an interactive workshop with Cody Craddock, Horticulture Agent with Randolph County Cooperative Extension. During the workshop, we'll visit a few different crops grown at MCO - apples, peaches, blueberries and blackberries - and dive into the essentials of growing fruit at home. You'll learn:

🍏 The basics of growing each of these crops

🌱 When and how to plant for success

💧 Managing fertilization, irrigation, pruning and pest control

Bonus ~ Every participant will take home an Apache blackberry plant to jump-start their own fruit-growing journey!

Whether you're a beginner or an experienced grower, this class will elevate your skills and knowledge. Spaces are limited—register today to reserve your spot and bring your questions!

Our workshop is approximately 60 minutes.
