Homeschool Day: Poppy Patch Orchard Excursion

Friday, May 9th & 16th at 11am | Tour price: $12.50/person (kids 2 & under: Free)

This offering is ideal for all homeschool groups and small family/friend groups.

Join us for an educational, interactive, and outdoor experience as our poppy patch tour returns for its second year! Step into a vibrant world where the orchard bursts with the color of blooming poppies and the hum of pollinators at work. You’ll embark on a hayride parade, stopping to explore each unique poppy patches, discovering the important role of pollinators and learning how these tiny creatures help our flowers. 

Our Poppy Patch Orchard Excursion is approximately 60 minutes and includes:

• Pollinator Talk 
• Educational Poppy Parade with a Visit to the Different Varieties: California, Red Poppy & Rocket Larkspur & Traditional Red Poppy
• Orchard Hayride
• Flower Seed Planting (Take Home)
• 4-oz Apple Cider Slushie

All tours also include access to Kiddie Korral Playground and Picnic Area. Groups are welcome to enjoy this space before or after their tour.

*All guests over the age of 2 must have a paid ticket in order to participate. Kids 2 & under are free, but they do not receive the take home of the flower seed planting and slushie. If you'd like for them to receive the full tour items, please purchase a ticket for them as well.
