Summer in Bloom: Photography Rental Featuring Sunflowers, Peaches & Baby Highland Cows

Calling all photographers ~ capture the charm of the summer season with rows of golden sunflowers, sweet peaches, and the most photogenic baby highland cow friends ~ Daphne and Dusty. With 15,000 sunflower seeds planted and a mix of yellow, white, red and plum sunflowers plus rows and rows of sun-ripened peaches, you'll have the perfect rustic, summer backdrop that your clients will adore. 

Set amidst rows of sunflowers and peaches, with exclusive access to Dusty or Daphne, the baby Highland cows, this unique setting is only available on select summer dates. Explore the details below. 

Photographer Cost: $100/hour for 6pm & 7pm | $75/half hour for 8pm

Guest admission: $12/person (Kids 2 & Under: Free) 

Included in your photography experience : 

  • Private access to designated photography areas in the peach orchards & sunflower fields (closed to public with only a max of 2 photographers per hour)
  • Hayride to and from the field for both photographers and clients
  • Exclusive time with the baby highland cows, Dusty or Daphne (1 cow per photographer supervised for safety & comfort)
  • Mini apple cider or peach slushie for both photographers and clients
  • All clients may pick two sunflower per paid admission

Additonal Details

  • All purchases are nonrefundable and nontransferable. 
  • Your clients must check-in inside the Apple Barn upon arrival as we charge an admission fee of $12/person for guests, which includes an orchard hayride, u-pick sunflower opportunity with two sunflower stems included, and a mini slushie. The sunflowers must be picked during their photography session. 
  • In the case of bad weather where we cancel the sessions for the day, we will reach out to all scheduled photographers to reschedule your session. 
  • Please note that we do not provide the photographer. This offering is created for photographers looking to host their sessions in the orchards or for groups who want to take their own photos. 
  • Small props may be used. We will also provide a few props that photographers may share during sessions.
  • Zoom Recording: We hosted a required Zoom meeting for all photographers on the week prior to the sessions to discuss logistics and what to expect during your visit. 
  • Other things to enjoy before or after your photo session (we will close at 8:30pm after the last session finishes):
    • Stop in the Apple Barn for apple cider slushies, canned goods, or baked goods
    • Enjoy the playground and ride the tire swings
    • Visit the Orchard during open hours before your session to have lunch or a beverage at the Cider House, fish in the ponds, or indulge in peach donuts at Granny's Goodies.

1. TERM OF AGREEMENT. This Agreement shall be effective from the date the Agreement is executed by Photographer and shall remain in effect until December 31, 2025. All photographic sessions shall be scheduled in agreement with MCO. Photographic activities shall be conducted in the designated areas only and shall not interfere with the normal business operations of MCO. All small props or other objects used by the photographer shall be removed from the premises following the photographic session.

2. CONDUCT OF CLIENTS. Photographer is fully responsible for the actions and conduct of their clients and shall not allow any persons to violate the terms and conditions of this Agreement. All children under the age of 18 MUST be supervised at all times.

3. PHOTOGRAPH / MEDIA RELEASE. Photograph and clients hereby authorize MCO to utilize any photographs taken by Photographer at MCO during the photographic session. Photographer and clients understand that the photographs may be used for the promotional and advertising purposes of MCO without compensation to Photographer or clients.

4. INDEMNIFICATION. MCO shall not be liable for any damages to or personal injury of, the Photographer, Clients, Clients family, guests, invitees, agents or employees, or to any person entering the Premises for the photographic session caused by the Negligence of MCO. Photographer hereby agrees to indemnify, defend and hold MCO harmless from any and all claims or assertions of every kind and nature from any person.

5. NONREFUNDABLE. When booking this session, the photographer or client understands that this purchase is nonrefundable.
